Operation
Ever typed in a lot of text and suddenly found that you had the Capslock key down AND DON'T WANT THE TEXT IN UPPERCASE. WELL UNTIL NOW THERE WAS NOTHING YOU COULD DO ABOUT IT, OTHER THAN SELECT, DELETE, AND TYPE IT IN AGAIN.
ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE THE FKEY CORRECTLY INSTALLED.
1. JUST SELECT THE ERRONEOUS TEXT
2. DO A COMMAND-SHIFT-0 {ZERO}
3. WITH THE TEXT STILL SELECTED DO A 'PASTE' {COMMAND-V}
4. the text should then be replaced by the same text in lowercase.
Problem licked!
A variation on this process will allow you to convert lowercase text to uppercase, simply make sure the capslock key is down before you do the command-shift-0 {zero}.
1. just select the erroneous text
2. engage capslock.
2. do a command-shift-0 {zero}
3. with the text still selected do a 'paste' {command-v}
4. THE TEXT SHOULD THEN BE REPLACED BY THE SAME TEXT IN LOWERCASE.
PROBLEM LICKED AGAIN!
REMEMBER THE FKEY WILL ONLY CONVERT THE TEXT ON THE CLIPBOARD. IT DOES NOT PASTE.
IF ANY ERROR OCCURS YOUR MACINTOSH WILL BEEP.
